The energetic cleansing or clearing of an environment to uplift and enliven the life force of the space is an ancient ritual practiced in every culture. Scientists and mystics agree that the universe is composed of energy which pervades and affects everything in our lives.

Clearing stagnant energy from our home and workplace can help to improve all aspects of our lives. Nov. 14 - 16, 2008: The Mesa as Healing Ground - Session 1: Honoring the Earth, Honoring Ourselves with Jean Tindle and Elias Patras

Summary: This is the first of a four-part apprenticeship in cross-cultural healing traditions with a particular focus on the Peruvian healing traditions of the North Coast and the Andes. In this weekend workshop we will concentrate on:

* Reconnecting to the loving energy of Pachamama (Mother Earth)
* Grounding and centering our physical bodies, releasing old wounds and traumas held in the body that create illness, creating deep healing at the physical level
* Breaking stubborn patterns through journeying , trance dance and ceremony
* Creating a mesa or altar to connect with the elements, establishing a personal space to do healing work for ourselves and the planet
* Creating a sacred community

Description: The apprenticeship will require a commitment to attend all four gatherings. It will be held at Camp Ronora in Watervliet, MI.
