Summary: Study the art of creating sacred space through feng shui, sacred geometry, and ritual. Sacredness exists in pure form in landscapes and in natural patterns. Humans, on the other hand, access it though consciousness, ritual, and design. Discover how to bridge disparate forces-the natural and the human-made, the physical, mental, and spiritual-to create consecrated space. Use observation, dowsing, and meditation as forms for studying the principles of design as embodied in Western geomancy (divination), and sacred architecture. Participate in rituals for earth healing and space clearing, and for the consecration of land, gardens, and ceremonial structures. A rare opportunity to study with a master, using the Hollyhock campus to explore landforms, earth energies, and power spots.

We will be accompanied by the Q'ero, the gentle, native peoples, who will be sharing with us their ceremonies which have been performed for centuries. After 2 full days, we will travel by private motor coach into and through the Sacred Valley, where we will be staying for 4 days, visiting the ruins of Pisac, the sacred waters of Tipon and will have an opportunity to participate in a healing session with the renown ayahuasquero, Don Alonzo Del Rio. We will then visit the ancient shrine of Ollantaytambo and will then travel by train to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu, for exploration of the ruins and ceremony, returning to Cusco to prepare for our return trip home.

Summary: Join us in Twenty-nine Palms, California, for a journey through the South, the first in a series of experiential workshops through the four directions of the Medicine Wheel. Experience the rites of passage in the shamanic tradition of the Q'ero indigenous people of the high mountains of Peru.
The South direction is the path of the serpent. To embark on a path of power we must first shed our past and programming, just as the serpent sheds its skin. This is the work of the South, where we release our past - both energetically and mythically.
Description: Benefits from completing the journey of the South:
Embody the lessons your life has taught you, while no longer having to live with the pain and suffering they have produced. Learn powerful techniques on how to practice non-attachment, non-judgment, non-suffering and beauty.
Eliminate those stubborn lifelong patterns.
The sacred rites of the Q'ero shamanic lineage will be transmitted to you. With these rites you will begin to grow the shaman's medicine body.
In the South we also begin to assemble a Mesa, or Shaman's altar, which will assist us with our transformation into our new medicine body by shedding our past.
