The Andean symbol of the Incan civilization, our chakana talisman necklace is created from a solid black stone. Derived from Quechua, the traditional language of the Incas, the word chakay, means to cross or to bridge, as between this world and the otherworlds. Our chakana represents the 3-stepped symmetric cross, with a beveled hole in the center. Cross measures 1 x 1 inches and is strung on a 24 inch black cord with a silvertone accent bead. Uniquely handcarved in Peru.
