Symbol is surrounded by 14 small coral-colored round stones. Outside of the box is embellished with 7 small blue colored beads on each side. This Gau (also spelled Ghau or Gao) is a Tibetan Buddhist amulet container, made to be worn as jewelry. Use it to hold and carry your small sacred amulets such as images, mantras (prayers), or relics. This style is a fitted back Gau which has a pressure fit back meant to be pried open with your fingers. Buddha eyes appear upside down to observers looking at it, but the symbol is meant to be viewed from the perspective of the wearer looking down at it. Measures just less than 1.25 inches across the circular area but including the bale and side ornamentation, just under 2 inches total. Pick your background color below. Handcrafted in Nepal.
