Masterfully hand carved alabaster-like Apu de 7 Puntas Stone, or Mountain of Seven Points Stone, embodies the energy of the apus, mountain spirits, and displays the Andean cosmology symbols. Carved by Cusco shamanic artists, Abelardo & Luz Marina.. This stone features the carvings of amaru, the sacred serpent; puma (mountain lion), and kuntor, condor, among others. Because these are hand-carved, slight variations from the photo can occur. Accompanied by its own brown hand woven drawstring bag. Handcrafted in Peru.
Masterly hand carved stone piece of Twelve Mountain peaks embodying the energy of the Apus (mountain spirits) and the Andean cosmology and symbology by Cusco shamanic artists Abelardo & Luz Marina. Each peak is identified on the piece. A three leaf symbol of the kintu, the coca leaves used often in ceremony, is carved onto the bottom of the arte. Crafted in Peru.
Cute and curious carved disc featuring what appears to be a sea dragon with bulging eyes and curved tail looking directly at you. This different orientation of the dragon is a unique aspect of this piece which also features other intricate carvings and a hole for affixing to a garment or other cloth fastener.
Our sacred stone is beautifully carved on both sides featuring on one side Mamakilla moon and Inti sun, symbolizing the balance between the energies of the east and west, and male and female, like an Andean yin-yang. A stylized star sparkles on the cheek of Mamakilla while amaru or sachamama, the serpent, encircles the stone. Reverse side features other symbols of Andean cosmology, including the three coca leaf kintu. Comes with its own handwoven drawstring pouch. Hand carved of Peruvian stone.
