His right hand hangs over his knee, fingertips pointing to the ground in Bhumisparsha Mudra. These ceramic figures cuchimilcos are identified with the Chancay culture, developed between 1200 and 1470 in the central coast of Peru, and centered in the current Huaral province in the region of Lima.
