Our intricately hand carved, alabaster-like stone tile features the revered Incan animal totem Otorongo, the Jaguar. Orotongo is protected by symbols for the apus, the sacred mountains, at the four corners, and leaps in bas relief over a background of other Andean symbols. Expertly carved by shamanic artists, Abelaro and Luz Marina in Peru.
Bells and dorjes are used in many Tibetan Buddhist rituals. The bell symbolizes the feminine principle, the wisdom of emptiness, while the dorje, or vajra, symbolizes the masculine principle, that of compassion expressed through skillful means. Handsomely carved reproduction flute hand crafted in the Moche style. Made of llama bone, this flute has hand burnished details with decorative inlays of shell or stone for the eyes of one or both of the figures represented.
