This seed is characterized by being part red and part black, visually suggesting complementary and duality. These small sacred charms are used in the Peruvian Andes in despacho ceremonies by including the figures in the despacho bundle, which will later be offered to Pachamama, mother earth.  Each mini kit contains a picture of a saint, angel or holy person, two seeds, and a pewter figure.
