The spirit of the Shipibo is magically painted into in this cloth creation with intricate traditional painted designs based on their ayahuasca-inspired medicine songs called icaros. No two patterns are exactly alike and all are hyponizingly beautiful. This pattern is said to represent a Song to Pachamama for Good Luck. Created deep in the Peruvian Amazon jungle by Shipibo women.

The spirit of the Shipibo of the Peruvian jungle is magically painted onto this cotton cloth creation with intricate traditional painted designs based on their ayahuasca-inspired medicine songs called icaros. No two patterns are exactly alike and all are hyponically beautiful. This pattern is said to represent a song of the chacorona plant for more light and flowers of ayahuasca for joy. Created in the Peruvian Amazon jungle by Shipibo women.

This simple despacho cloth is woven with fibers in colorful rainbow shades and features a traditional t'ika (flower) pattern, representing protection, in its center band. Sewn with corner tassels on each corner and a bound edging on two sides.  Handwoven by the native Q'ero of Peru.

Colorful Ocongate-style mestana bound on all four sides with contrasting color edge with pattern. Some diamond designs are filled with the t'ika or flower motif.  Hand made in Peru.

Like the despacho cloth, the Q'ero use other plain-woven pieces of cloth to carry goods and food. This cloth is an example of the Q'ero carrying cloth, usually woven in more subtle, natural shades in a four corner design. This cloth has a very fine drape and is woven from soft wool, likely alpaca or an alpaca blend.   Woven in in the high Andes of Peru
