Each icon has a specific meaning some only known to the weaver herself. Amethyst colored edging and strands of green blue and red set off the interior icons. Reversible. The pattern is the same on both sides, but the colors are opposite.This piece has 22 and 19 inch ties at each end in addition to loops at one end. Belts can be worn, used as ties or straps or used as an overlay on ground mesas or altars. Made in the Sacred Valley of Peru.

Inti is usually depicted as a rayed diamond, but the half Inti is said to represent the sun in its rising or setting form.
