There's nothing fishy about this big-bowled rattle. Our ceremonial rattle is hand made in the Peruvian Amazon. Made with a sturdy hardwood chonta handle, gourd bowl with cloth fabric tuft trimming the top and colorful cotton thread windings above and below the bowl. This eco-friendly ceremonial hand crafted rattle is designed and executed by the artist in Peru. The etchings on the rattle's bowl features twin serpents one on each side. The handle of this sound maker is constructed of very strong chonta wood and the bowl is made from a native gourd. The rattle is trimmed on the tip of the handle with colorful molted Amazon bird feathers. Colorful cotton thread is wound both above and below the gourd bowl.
