Wiraqoya grows in the high Andes mountains of Peru at an elevation of over 12,500 feet. It strong earthy aroma is used to lighten and clean energies. It is traditionally used by the Q'ero as an offering to the Apu's. It is also used to maintain the presence of the spirit of fire and when working with lightning, to feed and to offer ayni (scared resiprositcy).
