A unique hand woven textile by the Q'ero of Peru. Traditional woven-in Q'ero motifs depict the rayed diamond of Inti, the sun God of the ancient Incas and a stylized chakana or perhaps a star. Use this piece as an overlay cloth on your sacred ground mesa, a decorative runner or even a woven piece of wall art.
Our hand woven Shipibo falda cotton cloth is intricately hand embroidered in geometric fractal designs representing traditional ceremonial sacred songs called icaros inspired by the Shipibo's relationship with their ayahuasca based, jungle cosmology. This design represents good energy for the home. Handmade in the Amazon jungle of Peru.
The spirit of the Shipibo is magically incorporated into this cloth creation showcasing two different types of their art: their hand-painting and embroidery. These designs are based on the Shipibo ayahuasca-inspired medicine songs called icaros. No two patterns are exactly alike and all are hypnotically beautiful. Created deep in the Peruvian Amazon jungle by Shipibo women.
This pattern is said to represent a song for Anaconda con Tabaco.
