White Sage has been used by Native Americans for thousands of years for cleansing, purifying one's self and others as well as an area of space through the technique of smudging.

Our Benzoin of Sumatra resin incense burns fresh and fragrant and is said to be sweet and soothing.  Unlike traditional benzoin incenses that lean heavily on vanilla tones, our unique blend focuses on the rich, balsamic essence of benzoin resin, harmoniously infused with an intricate selection of spices. Derived from trees, benzoin is believed to have antiseptic, stimulant, expectorant, and diuretic properties and is included in some medicaments. Gum benzoin is a major component of the type of church incense used in Catholic ceremonies and some other Orthodox Christian societies. Contains pieces and powder. This resin is harvested by Indians in the Amazon Rainforest in a sustainable fashion. No trees are harmed in the process. Breu resin has been burned for centuries. It burns very well on charcoal. Also ideal for mixing with other incense. Burning herbs and resins (aromatic tree sap) is one of the oldest forms of incense.
