Beautifully made drum beater with deer hide head and spiral-wrapped deer hide handle. The medicine wheel design on the bottom of the handle is the maker's signature. The beater end measures 1.5 wide x 2.5 long, providing a lighter, thinner, more flexible yet strong drumstick offering less fatigue during use.

Handmade sacred art creation combines a drum beater with a rattle. The handle grip is spirally wrapped in soft deer hide for comfort. The shaft is usually made of oak, but poplar is used on occasion. Half inch diameter stick provides a lighter, thinner, more flexible, yet strong drumstick reducing stress on the hands and wrist. The Artist’s signature of a traditional Native American Medicine Wheel is painted on the rattle.
The Rattle contains Creek Rock and White Seed Bead for enhanced sound. When accompanying the drum and rattling in every beat, it creates a sacred sound. Great for any sacred space or environment. Designed for use on hand drums, but can be used for other related percussion instruments or as a rattle on its own!
