Kalea sacatechichi native to Central America, Kava Kava native to the Pacific Islands, Passionflower traditionally used all over Latin America, and Blue Lotus used in Ancient Maya and Egypt, for example -- have been used in ritual by medicine people to enter deep meditative states and ignite visionary sleep.

Lucid dreaming, or visionary sleep, is the process of awakening in the dream, and being conscious in the dream. Plant allies like those within this formula, assist the body in deeply relaxing, yet remaining lucid and aware as the body transitions into sleep. This allows consciousness to witness itself sleep and enter in a deep relaxed state. Now the fragrant scent of North American White Sage, Salvia apiana, is blended with South American Palo Santo bursera graveolens, in the form of incense sticks. Each stick is made by grinding the finest herb sage and palo santo wood into a powder and then dipping the sticks in resin and rolling the ground herb onto the stick, drying and packaging them.

These incense are hand-rolled in small batches using ethically and sustainably sourced resin and other plant materials. They are free from charcoal and essential oils which have been known to cause respiratory irritations to some when burned.
