While many different kinds of Despacho kits exist, this one is specifically designed to be used in an Ayni Despacho ceremony of sacred reciprocity. This ethical tenet that guides the people of the Andes to live in sacred relationship with the Earth and with each other. Through this relationship they realize that all things exist as unique strands in "the great web of life."

It is a smaller Despacho (has fewer ingredients), yet contains all you need to create balance in your relationship with Pachamama, Mother Earth. Some items, such as crackers and cookies, may have sustained cracking or crumbling in transit. However, your intention sets the energy for the offering and is not diminished by such damage.

Each rustic cross is made from the sacred wood of the chonta palm tree or Chonta Duro. Shamans have been known to use the sharp long spikes found on chonta tree trunks as "darts" to take out evil spirits which cause illness.
