Stone Carvings

Stylized stone hand carvings of each of the sacred Four Directions animal totems: serpent, jaguar, hummingbird, and condor. These four pieces are perfect for your sacred medicine bundle, mesa, altar, or space. Each piece is no more than 2.25 inches high. The pieces are carved from a stone called Machu Picchu stone which is a form of granite. Comes with woven drawstring pouch. Handmade in Peru.

The chakana, or Inca Cross, is a sacred symbol of the Andean cultures that holds great spiritual significance. It is believed to be the most complete geometrical design in Inca mythology and is often found at ancient sites and sacred centers throughout Peru and Bolivia.

This chakana cross is hand-carved from "Machu Picchu stone," which is similar to serpentine and is made in Peru. It is a beautiful piece that brings the rich cultural heritage of the Andes to life.

The set of 12 Peruvian Chumpi Stones are associated with the 12 mountains in the Sacred Valley near Cusco in Peru. These delicately hand-carved, alabaster-like stones are used by some shamanic practitioners in their ceremonial healings. Each stone measures approximately 1.25 - 1.5 inches in size.

Each features a delightfully detailed rendering of a traditional Peruvian motif carved into its surface. Use in ceremony or as artes on your altar cloth / mesa. Comes with beautiful mestana (each cloth is unique and will vary from the cloth shown), beaded watana (tie) and rattle.

This very special chumpi stone set is made from what the Peruvians call Meteorite or Hiwaya stone. Energized and powerful! The Peruvian 13 Moons Chumpi Stone is hand carved with 13 ringed points. These  represent 13 moons and honor the unique energy of the Incan moon goddess, Mama Killa, or Mother Moon. The underside of the piece bears a carving of three coca leaves. The top etched designs can vary. This piece is perfect for a home altar or mesa. Crafted in Peru.

The San Pedro cactus, also called wachuma, has a history intertwined with Andean culture and traditional plant medicine. Archaeological evidence shows healers using the plant for ceremony as far back as 3000 years ago.

This little San Pedro Cactus is made from beautiful serpentine stone and expertly carved by shamanic artists, Abelardo and Luz Marina in Peru. 

More than just a plant, San Pedro is known to protect and give. Serpentine is an earthing stone that helps clear the chakras and assists in the retrieval of wisdom and memories of past lives.

A cute and clever carving of the sacred service animal of the Inca and their descendants, the llama. Used for toting and for its warm fur, this llama is carefully cut from Machu Pichu stone. Made in Peru.

The frog is one of the revered animals in the Incan cosmology, representing one of their three realms, the area beneath the ground. This one is hand carved in Peru. A nice addition to your mesa or other sacred space. Variation from image/design may occur due to the hand made nature of the product.

Hand carved heart stone fits perfectly in your palm. The hummingbird is typically associated with shamanic journeying, also known as Siwar Q'enti is a central mythological figure. He is the supreme psychopomp, having the ability to travel through all three worlds and cross-pollinate them. He is the mediator of the shamanic awakening process. Said to be the only creature to have looked Creator in the eyes.

Masterly hand carved stone piece of Twelve Mountain peaks embodying the energy of the Apus (mountain spirits) and the Andean cosmology and symbology by Cusco shamanic artists Abelardo and Luz Marina.
