This eco-friendly ceremonial hand-crafted rattle is designed and executed by a Peruvian artist. With hummingbird etchings on each side of the rattle's bowl, these are the kind of birds that might appear in a shaman's journey. These totem avians are ready to rattle in the directions with you and raise the energy in the north.
The handle of this sound maker is constructed of very strong chonta wood and the bowl is made from a local gourd. The rattle is trimmed on the tip of the handle with natural fibers. Colorful cotton thread is wound both above and below the gourd bowl.
