We plugged it in and it works beautifully even though its glow is duller near the top with more white color when not lit. Not shown in the image.

These xylophones are carefully calibrated musical instruments that produce an amazingly resonant sound with warm, round tones. This beautiful instrument includes 8 notes, and a set of mallets.

Measures approximately 17.5”L x 13”W x 3.5”H. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, slight variation is expected such as string and wood color.

About the Artisans:

Vaima Arts Trust is an amazing organization that uses music and creative arts to empower, rehabilitate, and advocate for marginalized members of their communities. Officially started in 2017, they teach the people they work with how to play, and create Zimbabwean instruments. "Vaima," a Shona word meaning "shine bright," encapsulates their mission to spread joy and creativity using music.

A great tool for mediators, teachers, and anyone who is willing to take a moment to pause, breathe and relax. Instructions for a mini meditation are included. The box features the sacred mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, translated as hail to the jewel in the lotus, the ancient Tibetan prayer for realizing perfect wisdom and compassion.

The meditation bowl is handcast and hand-tuned by skilled artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal. The box is made with Himalayan lokta paper, a sustainably harvested, tree-free eco paper.

The Andean Drum is an important instrument to the indigenous music of the Andes. Our hand-crafted drums are made in Huancayo, Peru, from natural materials: wood, bark from trees, animal skin, and hand woven twine. Drum top and side color may vary in hue. Andean Drums are used for festive occasions and are an essential part of traditional Andean Music.

Please note the stain on this drum can vary from light to dark color due to its handmade nature.

Sacred ceremonial rattle skillfully handcrafted in the Peruvian Amazon. This rattle features four animal images representing the four sacred archetypes or directions in the Andean cosmos: Jaguar (otorongo), the Serpent (amaru or sachamama), Condor (apuchin/kuntor), and the Royal Hummingbird (siwar kinte). Trimmed with colorful cotton thread windings and natural fibers.
