This adjustable white metal ring is hand-crafted by local artists of Nepal. It features the Om symbol in the center of the band, set off with turquoise stone chips and delicate ornate rope-like designs around both sides. The ring can be gently pressed together to adjust to whichever finger on which you choose to wear it.
Measures almost 0.75 inches wide and 0.75 long. Handcrafted in Nepal.
Om (or sometimes Aum) is referred to as the basis of all sounds. The first letter, A, is the root sound, the key, pronounced without touching any part of the tongue or palate; M represents the last sound in the series, being produced by the lips, and the U rolls from the very root to the end of the sounding board of the mouth. Hence Om represents the whole phenomenon of producing sound.
