More Information

Our hand cast and hand tuned tingsha with Zen dragons floats over an attractive wooden base. Made by Tibetan metal craft artisans living in India. To enter awareness of Zen is to wake up to the here and now. As the vibration of the chime begins, our awareness comes into focus. We are in the moment of the ring as suddenly as the sound begins.

Our tingsha chimes are made of bronze.
Bronze is primarily copper (more than 95%) with less than 5% tin.
This makes it stronger and more durable than brass which is also primarily copper but with less than 5% zinc.
Our brass chimes also include a minor mix of both tin and zinc with the primary base of copper.
As bronze is harder it provides a stronger and more sustaining sound for the tingsha.
