The balaphon is a traditional West African percussion instrument that resembles a xylophone. Created by Senegalese balaphone builders, each balaphon includes eight wooden notes and calabash gourd resonators. The entire piece is lashed with cotton cord.
These beautiful African musical instruments are as inviting to the eye as to the hand. Mallets included.
