Andean Symbology Tile - Serpent - Square is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Our intricately detailed, hand carved, alabaster-like stone tile features the revered Incan animal totem Amaru, the serpent. Amaru rests coiled in bas relief on a background of other Andean symbols. Expertly carved by shamanic artists, Abelardo and Luz Marina in Peru. Keep Amaru in the south on your mesa or altar.
Due to the handmade style of carving, please allow for minor variations in size, color and symbols.
The symbolism of the Pachakuti Mesa, the product of cross-cultural Peruvian shamanic traditions, includes all the relations of our world. Each direction is said to have an animal power and a spirit power. The tradition of which animal power may vary with the teaching. In the Pachakuti Mesa teaching, the South belongs to the serpent, also sometimes called Amaru. Due to handmade nature each piece may vary slightly.
