Coastal Blessings is inspired by the makers gratitude for the beautiful coastal mountains and ocean waters that surround these plants on Pachamama. Walking on the sand at the seashore or through the mountains is a constant source of inspiration and blessings. One is imbued with the stillness and scents of sun-baked plants carried by the winds, the spirit of the ancient ones in the mountains, and the red tail hawk flying above like messengers sending out the beauty and blessings from Spirit.Each of the plants leaves and flowers for this spray are picked with integrity, honoring and giving thanks to Pachamama, mother earth, and the plants spirit. These precious essential oils are lovingly and sustainably steam distilled in small batches. These sage plants are also used by the Chumash Native Americans for medicinal and ceremonial purposes.California Sagebrush (Artemisia californica), or Old Mans sagebrush, is from the sunflower family. This feathery soft, silver-leaved sagebrush is known for its clean and refreshing scent. It may be used to cleanse and purify ones self, and the environment, or to cleanse an object. This sagebrush has a cedar-like as well as sage-like scent with a whiff of camphor.
