Purva Ashada (aslo written as Poorvashada) energy gives us the freedom, fearlessness, and courage to follow our joy in the moment in an extravagant and unique way. In fact, it makes us feel invincible. This energy has the power to invigorate, renew, replenish. Here we get caught up in the excitement of the moment with little or no thought of past or future giving us a “just do it” attitude. It is associated with water, so it is an excellent energy to invoke while engaged in diving, sailing, surfing, etc, or going on a long boating trip. Just spending time on the beach or by the river helps to invoke Purva Ashada’s influence.
