Beads come in four sizes: 7-8mm (.25"), 9-10mm (.39"), 11-12mm (.47"), 18mm (.70"). Made in Peru.

Masterly hand carved stone piece of Twelve Mountain peaks embodying the energy of the Apus (mountain spirits) and the Andean cosmology and symbology by Cusco shamanic artists Abelardo and Luz Marina. Each peak is identified on the piece. A three leaf symbol of the kintu, the coca leaves used often in ceremony, is carved onto the bottom of the arte. Comes with it own wool bag, color may vary. The San Pedro cactus, also called wachuma, has a history intertwined with Andean culture and traditional plant medicine. Archaeological evidence shows healers using the plant for ceremony as far back as 3000 years ago.

This little San Pedro Cactus is made from beautiful serpentine stone and expertly carved by shamanic artists, Abelardo and Luz Marina in Peru. 

More than just a plant, San Pedro is known to protect and give. Serpentine is an earthing stone that helps clear the chakras and assists in the retrieval of wisdom and memories of past lives.

He is the supreme psychopomp, having the ability to travel through all three worlds and cross-pollinate them. He is the mediator of the shamanic awakening process. Each rustic cross is made from the sacred wood of the chonta palm tree or Chonta Duro. Shamans have been known to use the sharp long spikes found on chonta tree trunks as "darts" to take out evil spirits which cause illness. The staffs carried by some Shamans are also made of chonta wood.
