This limited edition sacred oil has been created from the finest Ecuadorian Palo Santo (Holy Wood) tree twigs, “the ones closest to heaven and furthest from the land.” It was created in sacred space and time with healing intention and lots of love. The fragrance brings to mind the scent of citrus with a few notes of wood and is similar to frankincense, its close relative.

Jatamansi. Himalayan Spikenard, is a very calming oil, both emotionally and physically. Known as a powerful oil for grounding, for emotional needs and is recommended for use in spiritual blends or blends for meditation. Use Jatamansi oil on the feet and crown before bed to promote meaningful dream states.

Frankincense is the resin of the sacred Boswellia tree and has been used since ancient times by the civilizations of Egypt, Africa, and Mesopotamia. It is also the famous incense from the Bible thought to awaken a feeling of union with the divine. With a characteristic purifying and relaxing quality, its character is thought to strengthen willpower, self-confidence, and determination.

We are now offering oil from the fruit of the palo santo tree. Instead of oil being made from the wood it is taken from the fruit, resulting in an even more sustainable way to experience the benefits from palo santo. The sacred palo santo tree stays alive during the harvesting of the fruit. This oil is quite similar in scent to oil from the wood, but it is a bit more rich and deep. Great for perfume making or oil blends, and we highly recommend Palo Santo -The Fruit for your diffuser.

Andean mint (Minthostachys setosa) has a deep scent that cleanses negative vibrations. The traditional uses of Minthostachys are manifold, but the most important is consumption as tea, seasoning, or medicinal infusions against various ailments of the digestive or respiratory systems. Muña is the mint of the Incas with an aroma that is minty and woody with a slight citrus scent.

Our Fir Needle essential oil is steam distilled from the needles of the Canadian Fir trees.  It uplifts the spirits and helps bring about a sense of ease. It makes a wonderful addition to grounding room sprays.

Once plentiful, these beautiful, enormous hardwood trees were sought out and exploited almost to the point of extinction. Camino Verde was able to acquire and home over a thousand rosewood trees and plant the rare seedlings in a partnership with Brillo Nuevo, a native community of the Bora tribe found on the remote waters of the Yaguasyacu River. Now they are forging a sustainable future for this rare once-abused species while providing a meaningful income for proud, marginalized people.
