Despite chopping wood, carrying water, and raising five children Madhuri was fortunate to be able to spend plenty of time at her Guru's ashram in the Himalayas, immersing herself in Hindhu/Vedic philosophy and practice. Over the years she has led Kirtan and Mantra singing sessions in many countries and in her artwork has always depicted Hindhu Deities and traditional Yantras. Since childhood she had an interest in astrology and in later years upon discovering Vedic astrology, or Jyotish, she embarked on a serious study of this subject. A combination of her love for Jyotish, Vedic philosphy, and art resulted in the publication of this book and the 27 cards. She live in the hills of Ireland and still repeats the maha mantra : Om Namah Shivay
