Intended to be used in rituals or ceremonies throughout the summer. It’s also a great tea to cool down and calm down with. Can be steeped as you usually steep tea or it can be steeped in the summer sun. You can place the herbs in a large jar, strain, cool in the fridge, stir in a bit of honey & enjoy!

This Summer Solstice herbal blend includes mints to cool the body, tulsi to calm the body, and calendula to bring that brightness of the sun into the tea ☀

Ingredients:

Lemon Balm - Gives relief from the sun & gladdens the hearts. Lemon balm is a nervine, digestive, antidepressant, antispasmodic, and has a calming effect on the digestive system - good to use for heartburn, nervous indigestion, gas, and nausea.

Tulsi - A truly sacred plant that is native to India that encourages ritual and mindfulness. This plant is an adaptogen, and antidepressant, and improves energy in a subtle way.

Ingredients:

Echinacea - One of the most important herbs in building the immune system. Incredibly effective at helping the immune system fight off disease and infection by increasing T-cell activity.

Calendula- The sunny bloom of autumn! This last bit of late summer and early autumn sunshine is expressed through the calendula bloom. Calendula has been known to help cleanse the lymph glands and is a traditional European peasant tonic taken to prevent sickness in winter, what we would call an immune tonic today.

Anise Hyssop - This purple flowered plant encourages relaxation of the airways and the body. Making it a great addition in helping to relieve congestion and clearing the sinuses of mucus. It can help alleviate sore throats and cough as well. It adds a sweetly flavored and mildly licorice taste to this blend.

Starting your spring mornings with the spring equinox tea is a gratifying ritual to add to your days. Reminiscent of light and grassy green tea with a tang of lemon added. This tea blend is sure to replenish the body with its nourishing minerals and soothing plants.

This herbal tea blend will provide the most potency if infused. To make an infusion: use 4-6 tablespoons of plant material into a glass quart jar. Pour boiling water over the herbs to fill the jar. Let it steep for at least 30-45 minutes, but overnight is ideal. Strain and drink often!
