Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) has a pleasing citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative, and has also been described as warm, delicately sweet, and rosy-woodsy. Our sticks are sustainably wild-harvested from naturally fallen trees and branches that lay dead for 4-10 years before being harvested. 

Palo Santo has been used as a natural wood incense for centuries by the Incas and Indigenous people of the Andes. Shamans often use it in sacred plant-spirit ceremonies. Known as a spiritual remedy, to dissolve evil spirits and misfortune, and is used for medicinal purposes.

The cones are made from just two all-natural ingredients: Palo Santo and Muyuyo fruit.  Muyuyo (Cordia lutea) is a shrubby plant in the borage family, native to the Galápagos Islands, mainland Ecuador, Peru.  It is used in the cones as a binder to hold the cones together.

Copal Negro (Protium Grandifolium) is a premium copal resin from Peru, which originates from a completely different tree than the lighter copals. Copal Negro produces a complex, multi-layered scent that is very pleasant and jovial.
