Dating back to the Triassic Period (250–220 million years ago), this ancient conifer wood has undergone permineralization, where mineral-rich waters gradually replaced the original organic material, preserving the intricate cellular structure in stone. Portions of Mummified Wood are also present, showcasing natural preservation alongside mineralization — a rare and fascinating combination!
